Strollable is a map of family-friendly spots in Vancouver, built from public open-data sources (like the City of Vancouver's open data portal) and from location details contributed and verified by parents using the app. If your business appears on Strollable and the listing is inaccurate, or you'd like it removed, this page explains how to reach us.
1. What You Can Request
- Correct a listing — wrong hours, address, phone number, website, amenity details, or photos.
- Remove a listing — take your business off the map entirely.
- Dispute a report or review — flag a community-submitted issue report or tip that you believe is false or unfair.
2. How to Request It
Email strollable.vancouver@gmail.com with:
- Your business name and address
- A link to the listing on Strollable, if you have one (share it from the app's location card)
- What you'd like changed, corrected, or removed
- Confirmation that you're the business owner or an authorized representative
If you already use the Strollable app, you can also submit quick corrections (hours, photos, amenities) directly from the location's card via "Update this place." For removals, disputes, or anything needing verification, email is the more reliable path.
3. What Happens Next
We review every request personally and aim to respond within 10–14 business days, though this isn't a guarantee — actual response times may vary depending on volume. Straightforward corrections (hours, contact info) are typically applied faster; removal requests and disputes may take longer if we need to verify anything first.
4. Why a Listing Might Exist Without You Submitting It
Some locations on Strollable come from public open-data sources rather than a direct submission — this is common for parks, libraries, and community facilities, and occasionally applies to businesses too. Others are added or verified by parents using the app, based on their own visit. Listings reflect public records or a parent's firsthand account, not marketing copy submitted by the business itself.
